Tomorrow, Monday September 7, if you wear a sports team logo of any kind to Chick-fil-A from 10:30 a.m. until close of business, you’ll get a free chicken sandwich.

In our house we love the Chick-fil-A. My kids can’t get enough of it (I manage to keep them to one visit per week). This Friday (July 10, 2009), is annual Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A. If you dress head-to-toe like a cow you’ll receive a free combo meal. Alternatively, if you wear some sort of cow “accessory” (such as makeup creating black dots on your face but regular clothing, or a cow-print purse), you will receive a free entree item. I remember when the Chick-fil-A opened in Fort Mill (near Baxter Village) – I had a friend go on opening morning and I thought she was insane (given the fact that hundreds were in line for the freebies that were going to be handed out). But she came away having spent a fun morning with her kids AND getting some yummy food, too.

A year has passed since the Fort Mill location opened, and I am absolutely going to head over to their week-long first anniversary celebration which starts next week.

Just a FEW of the highlights for the week (see the expanded list using the link above):

• Feb. 23: From 5 p.m. – close, receive a free Kid’s Meal with the purchase of a Chick-fil-A Meal during a Family Night celebration.
• Feb. 25: The first 100 customers will receive a free Chick-fil-A travel mug.
• Feb. 26: Purchase two Hand-Spun Milkshakes and receive two free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwiches.
• Feb. 28: Happy Anniversary! Stop by from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for fun for all ages, including games, prizes, giveaways, an outdoor moon-bounce, face painting, tours of the Fort Mill Fire Department trucks.
