Various outlets, including the Charlotte Observer are reporting that bond has been set for Michael Mead, the Fort Mill native accused of shooting his pregnant fiancee, Lucy Johnson, to death in her Gastonia home last July and then setting her home on fire. The Herald is reporting that the Amber Alert issued earlier today has been cancelled, with the two little girls being found in Lancaster, SC.
However, still be alert because the suspect, Gerardo Reyes-Campos, has not been located.
