This morning I went for a run and was soaked from the rain by the time I got home. As I hung up my baseball cap (which was literally dripping with rain) I thought, “Today is going to be miserable!”

But that didn’t happen! Instead, around noon I was able to throw open all the windows and let the delightfully non-humid, cool air into the house! For the entire afternoon I got to listen to birds chirping, trees swaying, breezes blowing, and children playing.

What a wonderful day! I hope we get another one like this tomorrow, although reports are saying it’s going to be in the low 80s tomorrow (today it stayed in the 70s). Did you open up your house today to “air it out?” Or are you the type to leave your windows open even in the middle of summer?
