Plans For The Weekend?

There’s a lot going on this weekend! A couple of plays, a couple of concerts, an art crawl and a talent show! Whew!

In Theaters
The Gospel According to Tennessee at NarroWay Productions, on Saturday, June 5 at 1:00 p.m. This is an original NarroWay production featuring dance and never-before-heard songs Supper’s on the cook stove, so pull up a chair and sit a spell. Call (803) 802-2300 for ticket information.

101 Dalmatians at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill. This production of the hit Disney story features kids from Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Rock Hill as the numerous dogs. The production runs this weekend and next weekend. See our calendar of events for more details.

Hitting the High Notes
Saturday, June 6 is BacInTyme’s one-year anniversary and they will be celebrating all day tomorrow! From 2-5 pm they’ll feature musician Barrie Howard and from 6-9 p.m. Angie Medlin & Tom Williams will be performing. BacInTyme Coffee Café can be found at 124 Confederate Street in Fort Mill. Visual Cues
BacInTyme is also co-hosting the First Annual Art Crawl Downtown on Saturday from 6-8 pm. The art crawl includes BacInTyme, The Art Mill, Storm Dancer Art Studio, Jimmy’s 5&10 and Art Studio. Storm Dancer will be serving complimentary hors d’oeuvres & wine. You can call (803) 547-8813 for more information.

Kid, You’re Gonna Be a Star!
This year is the third annual Tega Cay Talent Show which is held in the Gold Hill Elementary School Cafeteria. This year, proceeds will benefit the Greek family of Tega Cay. You will recall that fire destroyed most of their home in mid-April. The show starts at 1 p.m. and will feature raffle prizes in addition to the show.

Got anything else planned for the weekend? There’s certainly no shortage of things to do (there’s also that ‘little’ festival called “Taste of Charlotte” going on this weekend a bit north of us).
