By Jane | February 22nd, 2009 | Category: Real Estate News | 2 commentsWe may not have any cave homes in our area, but we do have a lot of inventory. But fortunately, it seems that homes ARE still moving. Various sources, from Trulia to Zillow, all show that houses are selling in the Fort Mill area. Not only that, but despite the downward curve from the peak this past fall, MORE homes are selling than a year ago.
I don’t know what how LONG it’s taking homes to sell in Fort Mill (any realtors out there care to share the average days-on-market for Fort Mill?), but it’s encouraging to know that real estate IS moving in our area, despite the national epidemic.

Yes, homes ARE still moving in Fort Mill! I just ran some quick numbers from 11/1/08 to 2/28/09, typically the slowest months of the year. There were 88 homes sold at 96% of asking price. They were on the market for an average of 131 days. So a little over 4 months. I’d say that’s pretty good
