Despite a slowing market here in Fort Mill, Drake Capital is still moving forward with Lake Ridge at Tega Cay, a 820-home development in the works near Stonecrest Village along Dam and Grayrock roads of Route 160. Drake is refusing to discount the lots in a flagging market, and have been relatively successful thus far: three builders have committed to buying 462 lots in the 435-acre development.

Lake Ridge will have a variety of homes available, from luxury homes by Toll Brothers to modest ranch homes by Tribute Homes. Drake Capital has also reported that they intend to make some lots available later this year for folks who buy lots with the intent of bringing in their own custom home builders.
